With the recent changes and upgradation in the organisation, it was time for a special photo session for the Chairman, Sheikh Saud Bahwan. Pravin suggested to hire Gautam Rajadhyaksha for the task and requested me to handle the assignment.

I had worked with Gautam during Lintas days and he had established himself as an exceptional photographer for his candid and exclusive photos of celebrities in the film world. Gautam was quite happy to work on this assignment.

The Chairman seemed to be quite self-conscious during the shoot and this did not bode well for us.

In his sea-faring days, he used to stay at a hotel in Colaba, Mumbai and was a great fan of Lata Mangeshkar. Gautam was related to Lataji and this became the starting point for a detailed chat. Within some time, the Chairman seemed very relaxed, and Gautam got his shots right.
