A Humble Beginning...
Some of the most amazing success stories often emerge from India’s rural settings. This one commenced in Shendurni, a small town in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra.
A boy who lost his mother when he was mere 3 months old, and was raised by his uncle and aunt, found the rare spirit to perform excellently throughout his academic career. Right from Primary School to completion of his secondary education, he always remained at the top.

Aiming high...
The success in initial phase of the academic career continued as he moved to Mumbai and joined Sir J.J. Institute. Here too he scored 1st rank all through the 5 years and secured a place in the ‘Roll of Honour’ by claiming 1st class 1st place throughout Maharashtra, in the final year.

Thereafter he joined Lintas – the top advertising agency in India. With his dedication and outstanding performance, he was gradually promoted as an Art Director.

A leap beyond the Ocean…
Even though Lintas provided a secure and motivational environment, the financial returns were not sufficient to meet the requirements. In 1993, he moved to Muscat to join his colleagues from Lintas, along with those from HTA, Ogilvy, Sistas.

With its majestic lifestyle and scenic ambience, Muscat was a dream destination. Here, he worked at an in-house advertising outfit of the Saud Bahwan Group which offered an opportunity to work with global brands like Toyota, Lexus, Ford, Daewoo, MAN, etc.
Overall, it was 25 years of challenging, exciting, and enriching experience for the boy who is none other than B R Kumawat.
